Lab reports, "No THC detected in hempseed oil!"

Absolutely no traces of tetrahydrocannabinol were found in samples of  HEMPOLA hempseed oil during recent rounds of routine testing at Maxxam Analytics Inc., a leading Canadian testing laboratory serving the food, pharmaceutical, environmental and occupational health industries.Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the psychoactive ingredient of marijuana and, until now, it has been generally accepted as unavoidable for trace amounts from the leaves of the plants to get into hempseed oil during processing. The hempseed oil, processed from a crop grown on the shores of Lake Erie in South-western Ontario, was pressed at Hempola Valley Farms, north of Barrie, Ontario, using the company's proprietary technology and cleaning processes. Hempola founder, Greg Herriott, feels that the key to producing a superior product is in the processing. "Since installing our own cold pressing equipment, we have consistently and significantly improved upon the nutritional content of our oil. Hempola oil is now only just shy of 4% GLA and the Omega 3 is over 21%," he asserts. "Our processing calls for a very high level of cleanliness throughout the production process and we are happy to abdicate quantity for the quality of oil produced by a slow-running press. I believe it is this combination that has enabled us to produce hempseed oil that is totally free of THC."
